Low Voltage Aquarium Filter
Wide Application
Works well, and has lots of media for beneficial bacterial growth. I don’t hear any noise from it, but I have a lot of equipment running and those are much louder. It’s tall, but doesn’t take up too much room in my 37 gallon tank.
This is the most underrated filter I’ve ever owned. Does the work of a small canister filter with the right set up!
I really like this filter. It may be on the smaller side, but it’s pretty powerful. When I installed it in my fully planted tank, it cleared up the water within about 20 minutes. It’s super easy to use and I love that it utilizes multiple stages of biological filtration. I was able to add carbon to the chamber as well, which makes it easily customizable for any level of aquarist. It’s really a fun filter since you can see the biomedia more inside the chamber.
The flow rate is powerful enough to filter the water, yet is perfect for my smaller fish. The flow rate can be adjusted as well as the hight of the output head. It’s also super quiet. I’ve had to check on it multiple times just to be sure it was still running.
This filter has made a huge difference in my son’s crawfish tank.
It’s always been a challenge to keep the water clear since crawfish are bottom dwellers and very messy, and the “high-end” hang-on-back filter we used just couldn’t keep up no matter how often we cleaned the tank.
This one works so well it cleared the water within 48 hours of putting it in.
The sponge is easy to clean and runs so quietly that we hardly notice it.
It’s larger than I expected, but blends so well into the background it doesn’t stand out.
The price makes it a great value and I would get another without hesitation if I ever needed to.
