Came as described. Works as it should and is whisper quite. I would highly recommend for a small fish tank.
Finally a HOB filter if you have shrimp. The main reason for writing this review is because I think I have tried every HOB filter made that would first, last more than 2 months and not suck up my Neocarodina shrimp like the others said they wouldn’t. I believe this may be the one. I have had this filter for almost a month now and Really like it. I also like the idea that the pump is in the tank and self priming. I just wanted a little more filtration. I have three tanks, two with shrimp. I run a sponge filter and air stones, but wanted something to filter and keep the water the clearest as possible. So far, I get both with this filter. If you are looking for the same qualities, I would suggest this one!
