I was going to say “doesn’t suck” for my title but realized that would give a poor impression because this thing is GREAT! (I¡¯m desperately trying to avoid more vacuum puns here, but it¡¯s difficult.)
My husband has been using a manual siphon for his tank maintenance; I recently had to do it for him and asked how one is supposed to do that without getting tank water in my mouth. ¡°I usually don¡¯t,¡± was the reply. I also learned that shrimp love to go on a ride in the process and can jump to some degree. As you might imagine, I found the situation less than ideal.
