This worked but it could have more suction. I have a 75 gallon and 150 gallon tank. I feel like the manual one works way better. I am going to keep using it be it does work. Maybe use for a smaller tank.
it works well if you clean it every five minutes i had them send me a new one because i had it on for a few minutes it quit the new one did the same i cleaned them both they work but tried cleaning my aquarium works well if i disassemble and clean often otherwise entire pump quits and lights start flashing if you have a small aquarium 150 gallon or less it probably would be all you need
I liked this one for the few times it worked. Then I happened to just touch the handle to the water, not submerged, and it was fried. I took it apart to find that paper is the only thing holding water back from the circuit board inside. Needless to say, I will be looking elsewhere for a new one and hopefully if you are reading this you won’t waste your money on a product that’ll break right away.
Customer service was pretty easy to deal with and a replacement was sent for the device.
After several uses cleaning/water change my 55 gallon aquarium, the enclosed battery stopped providing power to the suction motor. But the motor could be powered from the A/C line without a problem. The battery in the handle gives you a bit more freedom from an extra plug in line. The company was very supportive and provided a replacement. This is an outstanding and effective system, and now performs great!
Great for pumping out dirty water then adding clean to aquarium. Sure works better than hand pump. Made the job a lot easier.
