Information about AQQA Aquarium Light with 24/7 Sunrise/Sunset Mode

The AQQA Aquarium Light is a full-spectrum LED lighting system designed to create a thriving and natural environment for freshwater tanks. It offers advanced customization, including a pre-programmed 24/7 cycle and various weather simulations, making it easy to provide optimal lighting for plant growth and fish well-being.

Customizable Spectrum & Brightness

This light allows users to precisely tailor the visual environment of their aquarium by selecting from nine rich colors, including a full spectrum, a gradient mode, and specific colors like Blue, Red, Green, and Purple. This color variety is coupled with ten dimmable brightness levels, ranging from 10% to 100%, enabling you to perfectly mimic natural lighting conditions, support robust plant photosynthesis, and create a visually appealing, low-stress habitat for your fish.

Smart Auto-Schedule and Natural Cycles

The unit features a smart auto-schedule function, allowing users to quickly set a daily lighting duration (4H/6H/8H/10H/12H) that will automatically turn on and off at the same time every day, saving energy and maintaining consistency. Furthermore, the light includes a pre-set and uneditable 24/7 simulation mode that mimics nature’s perfect rhythm of sunrise and sunset, which can be easily aligned to any local hour by adjusting the controller’s clock, providing a crucial, natural light transition for your tank’s inhabitants.

One-Touch Weather Simulation Modes

To further enrich the aquatic environment, the light offers four unique, pre-programmed weather scenes accessible with a single touch. These non-editable modes include a gentle Sunrise Mode for a gradual dawn glow, a calming Sunset Mode for a dusk transition, a fun Lightning Mode with random flashes for a realistic storm effect (use with caution for skittish species), and a Cloudy Day Mode that replicates overcast skies for a low-stress ambiance.

Universal Fit & Power Loss Protection

Universal Mounting: Rustproof aluminum bracket fits both rimmed and rimless tanks, with 6 size options available for 12″ to 53″ tanks.

Smart Memory with Battery Backup:

1. The controller’s built-in battery compartment (batteries not included) protects your settings during power outages.

2. With batteries, the light auto-restores the last color, brightness, and timer settings after a blackout.

  1. Excellent value, the lighting is quite bright which is great, the tank I have, its on the tall side so it takes a bright light to really get to the bottom where the plants are and there doing great. There are several different colors of light to pick from I really only use the bright white but the other colors are very nice. the timer works fine but I would prefer if it wasn’t battery operated.

  2. This is very bright! My only complaint is that this does give you instructions on how to use the auto on and off feature with the sunrise and sunset options, but for some reason I seem to not be able to get it working. It could be user error, but I wish it was more simple to follow. It doesn’t come with a remote, but the actual “Remote” is the power thing. There’s no wireless remote to use if you’re away from it, and it’s not a smart aquarium light where you can use an app to adjust anything. The value for the money is decent, I wish I could change a few things myself but that’s just personal preference. It does look great, the functions it comes with are very cool, and it does heat up a bit from the back, but it dissipates it well.

  3. This light was bigger than I imagined. The light has a lot of settings I like that you can control the brightness and also has a timer. I like the sunset and sunrise option. The light even has an option the imitates thunderstorms. I used this light for my 125 gallon tank

  5. When it comes to making these LED lights, they’re pretty much simple enough that there’s no real difference twixt brands, that I’ve seen. AQQA isn’t so hot for most aquarium components, but their lights are as good as anyone else’s.
It’s the level(s) of setting function/options that really set lights apart these days; these that can mimic the natural, lunar and solar cycles are proving to be well worth adapting to – for me, I started with them, by turn of good fortune. It can be a bit complex learning the different controllers and settings functions, but after using a few it gets pretty easy; usually one is just setting a light the 1 time, so the lack of frequency in use is really the culprit. I have more than just one or 2 tanks, so I’ve toyed with my lighting a bit more – height from the top of the tank is the main variable for too much/little light – and the plant and/or algae growth; with careful positioning, I’m able to cover 5 tanks with 2 lights, my overall power use is my bigger concern. These LEDs use so much less energy, yes, but even in the 15-30W range, the amount of time they tend to run can still add up to more than one expects.
