This is a awesome filter pump combo all in one.. its very powerful and well made and you can pull it all the way apart for easy cleaning and its easy to do and easy to operate just one switch high to low adjustable which is how its supposed to be some others on this site you cant do that i highly recommend this pump..
I really like this filter except after about 2 weeks of running it got this rattle noise. I took it all apart and inspected and found that if I take the little propeller out and make sure it¡¯s well lubricated (with water) it would stop. For whatever reason the rattle keeps coming back. I¡¯m hoping I can maybe crack the code on ending the rattle noise one day but for now it¡¯s just annoying. ESPECIALLY when I know it can be silent!
We really like the ease of this filter.
I used this for my 55 gallon tank for my turtles. Supposedly, this filter is supposed to be for koi pond size pools of water, but it can barely handle my tank (which is not even completely full). Every few days, it stops working/shooting out water, so I take out all the parts and clean them, even if they are not that dirty. This gets it to work again. I have also referred to the manual’s suggestions, but that doesn’t help either. If I cannot get this to work for a relatively smaller than that it should be used for, how would it work for a koi pond??
