The only con I’ve found is when the power goes out it resets the temperature to 82 for some reason.. every time. That’s way to warm for my fish that like to be kept at 76/78

I ordered one of these heaters from Aqqa and was having an issue with maintaining an even temperature. I contacted Aqqa and were very receptive and concerned about the well being of my fish. They gave me a couple of things to try that unfortunately didn¡¯t fix the problem. They immediately shipped a replacement no questions asked. Going forward I will by any product offered by this company.

Awesome heater, keep it in my sump tank & upper tank stays at constant temperature. Very happy!

The heater worked better than I expected. The instructions specifically say the control module has to be kept dry. Since this was for my OUTSIDE koi and tropical fish pond, I placed the control module in a plastic bag to keep it dry. Unfortunately, the bag turned over during a rain storm and water got into it. Pfat! The control module fried itself. I took it apart and dried it with a hair dryer to no avail. My bad…the heater was great until it died. I’ve already ordered another one.

We are using it for a 6 foot by 3 foot stick tank pool. Feels like bath water after a few hours. I imagine it would be very quick for a smaller body of water. Highly recommended, very easy to operate.
