Im useing this on a bow front reef tank. Corals need constantly moving water flow. This works very well. Its a new set up and its still aging. But this wave maker is great. Ive kept multiple tanks for years. We are setting up after a move and its a lot of work. I love the corals. A good water flow is essential for their survival. The best part of keeping corals is how they can move. You set your coral to where it looks great and over night they decide they dont like your plan. And they move to where they get the best light, best current, most food. They are animals and vegetation. The most unique creatures. And they decide where they want to live. Fascinating to watch as they grow. This is quiet, fits perfectly in the tank. And has all the power to turn that water over quickly.

I laughed at the size when this arrived, but this thing packs a punch! I use a wavemaker to spread the Co2 in my planted tanks and this works great! There are 4 speed settings, I keep mine on 2 and it provides plenty of power to keep things flowing. This is smaller than my palm, so larger items like loose plants can cause clogging of the flow so be mindful of that. This is similar price of other wavemaker but saves room in your tank so your attention can stay on the scenery and animals.
