Can this filter only be placed vertically?
AQQA internal aquarium filter can be placed vertically and horizontally. Tips: suggest immersing in minimum water level while using.
Is it noisy? Is the noise getting louder after using it for a long time?
The noise of the AQQA aquarium filter is lower than 30 dB. Ultra-silent design and the noise will not get louder after use for a long time.
Tips: suggest disassembling and cleaning the pump monthly.
Can this filter regulate airflow?
AQQA fish tank filter is equipped with air regulations， distributes gently and evenly flow， do not harm delicate fish and shrimp.
Can it be used for the saltwater tank?
No. The AQQA fish filter doesn’t work for saltwater tanks.
Very easy to set up, and clean. This has been running nonstop for 3 days now with no issues. Quiet running. I have a mesh type bag on the bottom to prevent my fries getting caught in this filter. It does have a sponge filter in there which is easy to clean. I’m very happy with this so far.
Since my old Filter died, I purchased the AQQA – 9w, Aquarium Filter, 800L/H Internal Fish Tank Filters with Aeration & Rainfall, which is the first time using any type of rainfall Filtration/Aeration system, for me. I¡¯m really glad that I decided to try this product because I¡¯m definitely happy with it.
This Filtration system allow the user to adjust the rainfall style, as it has 3 different rainfall modes. I have mine raining straight-down. Since I¡¯ve only had gravel bubblers, for aeration, I never realized that fish can seem happy, until I set-up this System. My fish are hanging-out beneath the rainfall, and they¡¯re a lot more active, as if they are playing in all of the water action. I never even gave thought to happy fish, until now.
This is a very quiet Filtration/Aeration System; the motor is silent. The only sound that I hear is the ¡®white¡¯ noise of the rainfall, which is very pleasant. I¡¯m very pleased with my purchase, and as needed, I will buy again.
This filter was very easy to put together and get going. I like that it’s compact and it is very quiet. I used the spout in the main picture but had to remove it as I found it gets clogged quickly. I removed it and continued using it so overall it’s nice
This is a good way to introduce yourself to the concept of aquaponics, Introducing extra air into thre water will oxygenate it so you can raise herbs or other edible plants in your fish water, saving on grocery bills!

We ordered the “AQQA Aquarium Filter, 600L/H Internal Fish Tank Filters with Aeration & Rainfall” for my son’s 5.5 gallon Beta tank. He added aquarium soil to his tank (youtube recommendation), and the whole thing went mud water on him. We put this in his tank, and a few hours later it had cleaned up the loose particulate. It came with the rainfall accessory and an adapter which lets you splice off air for a bubbler or aquarium toy. It is easy to clean and sticks well to the side with 4 suction cups that are included. You can adjust the flow rate via a knob on top. You can put the filter on the side or on the floor of the aquarium. This filter has great cleaning capabilities, and I highly recommend this for your home aquarium.
