Sunrise: Warm orange hues to gently wake your fish.
Noon: Full-power, full-spectrum light for peak photosynthesis.
Night: Dreamy starry blue moonlight for a calm evening aesthetic.
Fully Customizable Control
Fine-tune your environment using the intuitive wired controller. You can choose from 9 vibrant static colors or a color-cycling mode to match your room’s decor. With 10 levels of adjustable brightness and three timer presets (6H, 10H, or 12H), managing your tank’s schedule is entirely effortless.
Versatile and Waterproof Design
Built to withstand the humid conditions of aquatic life, the IP68 waterproof rating ensures safe, full immersion in freshwater. The setup is finished with a unique 7-position adjustable bracket, allowing you to tilt the light to highlight specific aquascaping features or eliminate shadows in deep corners.
24/7 Default Mode
Simulates natural living environments, starting with warm orange light at sunrise, moving to 100% brighter full-spectrum light at noon, and then to starry blue light at night. The default light turns on automatically at 6:00 a.m. and off at 23:00. The automatic on/off time can be postponed or advanced.

I really like this device. It’s a very cool concept. I have a dome light on the top canopy. However because I have a lot of decor at the bottom and plants planted, I wanted a light that I could eliminate in the back also. It’s very discreet when it’s mounted and not on. You really forget it’s there. I have it on the timer set up to mimic daylight.
It’s got a bunch of different settings. I will probably just end up using a couple of them. But it’s nice that there are tons of different options for different scenarios. You can really customize your setup with something like this. And it’s super affordable. It’s lightweight but feels solid. It mounts easily. It doesn’t seem like it uses much energy to keep going.
I am very happy with the light as well as the brand in general. I’m always impressed with their products. My entire tank is almost set up entirely with this Brand’s products. I find them well designed, solid builds, and affordable pricing compared to some competitors.
I didn’t realize how much I needed this style of light for my tank! PERFECT for glass lidded tanks. This LED light sits snugly to the glass lid via suction cups and stays submerged. Light can change to your specific needs be they plant growth or fish visibility. Color settings vary through colors and patterns and can turn on and off via its own timer. No need for an additional smart plug freeing up outlet space. I immediately changed to a bigger model in the pictured tank and installed this one in my smaller recovery tank. This model specifications is for a smaller tank but I used it my breeder tank so that you could see the range that the light permeates (the light halo almost reaches the edges of the tank pictured). Settings for LED color, timer, brightness are on the power cord so nothing gets misplaced.
This is a very nice LED aquarium light and perfect for my planted aquarium. The light brings out the natural colors of both the fish and plants beautifully. The selection of sizes make it easy to provide coverage throughout the tank, and the four rows of LEDs create a much more even illumination compared to many other aquarium lights I’ve used.
One of my favorite features is the 24/7 mode. It automatically transitions through different lighting levels to simulate a natural day and night cycle, which gives the aquarium a much more realistic appearance and it better for the health of my aquatic critters. The timer and brightness controls are easy to use, I can customize the lighting schedule to my needs. I also love the multiple color options, which let me change the look of the aquarium whenever I want. Whether highlighting plant growth or creating a more vibrant display, there are plenty of settings to choose from.
Putting it in was easy, suction cups hold it nicely to the side or bottom of the tank, and the adjustable angles made it easy to direct the light exactly where it was needed. This is an excellent aquarium light for both critter only and planted tanks. With the customizable colors, adjustable brightness, and the timer functions, it adds both beauty and convenience to any aquarium setup. Highly recommended.
The AQQA Submersible LED Aquarium Light is a feature-rich lighting upgrade for small freshwater aquariums. Designed to mount inside the tank, it offers a vibrant full-spectrum LED array with 24/7 automatic lighting mode, nine color options, adjustable brightness, and a built-in timer that helps simulate a natural day-to-night cycle. The IP68 waterproof construction provides reliable underwater operation, while the adjustable mounting angles make it easy to position the light for the best coverage. It’s an excellent choice for showcasing fish, enhancing aquarium d¨¦cor, and supporting many low- to medium-light aquatic plants. ?????
If you’re a hobbyist with multiple tanks, you already know the cable situation is out of control. Hang on back filter, heater, wave maker, auto feeder, auto top off — the perimeter of a tank fills up fast. A submersible light that lives inside the aquarium rather than perched on top of it sounds counterintuitive, but for certain setups it’s actually the right call.
My use case is a nano hospital tank that sits on a shelf directly beneath my 20 gallon. Headroom is minimal. A traditional light bar spanning the top isn’t really an option, and zip tying something to the underside of the shelf above it would’ve been a hack job at best. This AQQA unit solved that problem cleanly. The light goes in the tank, the bracket holds it against the glass, and suddenly there’s one fewer thing competing for the narrow strip of space around the rim.
A couple of things to know going in. The adjustable angle bracket is a nice idea but doesn’t hold position reliably — my best guess is that the buoyancy of the light itself works against it. The adjustable bracket is a positive though because competing products from other manufacturers have a fixed bracket which means your light is either flush on a wall (pointing at you) or attached to the lid. Neither is ideal for me. And speaking of not ideal, let’s talk about suction cups. I get that they are sometimes the best way to affix something to glass, but best does not equal effective. The suction cups on this submersible light are not going to fail dramatically but they are going to do suction cup things, which means occasionally loosening up, sliding down etc etc. I make a habit of pressing on them every time I open the tank because they do lose grip over time.
Also worth mentioning: submersing this creates a small horizontal ledge inside the aquarium. In my shrimp setup, shrimplets discovered it immediately and duckweed collects up there as it circulates. Whether that’s a problem or a feature depends on what you’re keeping.
Light quality seems solid for the application. No PAR values listed anywhere, but what’s coming out of it is doing the job for my plants. The 24/7 mode that cycles through color temperature and intensity throughout the day is something I genuinely appreciate — it runs itself and I don’t have to think about it.
At $22, the minor mechanical complaints are easy to overlook. If you have a cramped or unconventional setup where an internal light actually makes sense, this is worth a look.
