You can precisely control the suction, making it perfect for anything from light debris removal to quick water changes. The extendable handle adjusts from 22.8 to 37.4 inches, allowing you to easily reach the bottom of tanks between 11.8 and 43.3 inches tall without getting your hands wet. This makes it ideal for most aquariums from 15 to 200 gallons.
Safe, Efficient, and Easy to Use
This gravel vacuum is designed for safe and efficient operation. It accepts a wide input voltage (AC 110–240V) and provides a stable DC 24V output, ensuring energy-efficient performance. With a maximum flow rate of 600 GPH, it cleans tanks quickly and thoroughly. The generous cable lengths of 1.6m (pump to controller) and 2.4m (controller to plug) give you the flexibility you need for easy handling and setup.
Maintenance Tips
To ensure your gravel cleaner provides long-term, optimal performance, always fully submerge the motor before powering it on and keep it underwater during operation. After each use, rinse the motor to prevent clogging and extend its lifespan.

The suction is great, and having an adjustable flow is nice. It is also nice to have different length attachments for different tank heights. However, I am not sure how long this will last as it doesn’t look super durable.
This aquarium vac is a great little tool to have on hand! It worked great in my gravel tank, no issues with it clogging. However, in my larger tank it definitely struggled a bit; bigger fish = more waste, and the substrate in it is a finer gravel which was easily sucked up. It clogged pretty quickly in that tank, so I played around with all the attachments and the adjustable suction force until I found a way to keep the gravel on the ground. For that tank, I basically just use this as a water change helper rather than a gavel vacuum, but as long as you have the right substrate this will work well! I’ve used it a few times and have found it has held up nicely.
This thing has made my life so much easier! This is a little powerhouse. With all of the different attachments I can clean not only the gravel, but the landscaping in the tank as well. The suction is pretty good, and I use it to empty water when I do water changes as well. It is a pretty diverse piece of equipment every aquarium owner should have in their arsenal.
It is made pretty well, and all of the attachments go together easily. It is easy to clean, just run clean water through it for a min or 2, simple as that. It is pretty functional for any aquarium!
This vacuum made cleaning my fish tank so much easier.
It sucks up on the water and gunk from both my turtle tank and fish tank.
Here’s a product I’ve been waiting to review for weeks now. I wanted to try it out in my pond areas and in my indoor aquariums. This is a must have for both cleaning and water exchange settings.
After being into aquaria since I was a kid (50 years ago), I’ve obviously used many products in that span of time. This tool is absolutely amongst the best products I’ve used. It’s durable, versatile, easy to handle, powerful, and easy to clean after use.
As you can see from the pictures, it comes with a number of attachments and is multifunctional.
I have used this over the last month for the following:
* Tank cleaning
* Removing tank water
* Adding bucket water to my tanks
* Transfer of pond water to a new pond
* Pond circulation
* Pond cleaning
* Cleaning pond and tank substrate
* Cleaning an algae bloom in my pond
* Completely emptying a patio pond
This device has adjustable power that made the listed tasks easy and with measured power for each task. Each of the accessory tools is valuable in maintaining small ponds and aquariums.
One of the best features is using it with the hose to do water changes. It’s so easy to quickly fill a five gallon bucket, refill the bucket with clean water, and then pump the conditioned water back into the tank. Adding and removing water is so much easier physically and time wise.
Another key feature is the fact that there is an adjustable handle on this device. I was able to clean a 3 foot pond with river rock substrate just as easily as my 20 gallon tanks inside. The device and tools are easy to clean so as to prevent cross contamination as well. The power cord for the device also has the flow setting knob incorporated into it and the cord is long enough for use in a pond.
In short, this is a fantastic aquarist’s tool. I put it through a gauntlet of tests under different size conditions and with different substrate materials. It did not fail me.
