Information about AQQA Aquarium Chiller Fan
Maintain ideal water temperatures in your fish tank with our specialized aquarium chiller fan. It offers powerful and adjustable cooling, ensuring the health and safety of your aquatic organisms, especially in warmer environments.
Cooling, Healthy For Aquatic Life
Use a specialized aquarium cooling fan for fish tanks to effectively control the water temperature in high-temperature environments. This ensures the health and safety of aquatic organisms. It is suitable for most ordinary fish tanks in mild and high-temperature environments.
High Quality & Durable
The fish tank cooling fan is made of high-quality ABS plastic, ensuring it is sturdy and durable. It features a pure copper motor, which is powerful and efficient, ensuring it effectively accelerates heat dissipation.
5-Speed, Precise for Climate Control
Aquariums require cooling equipment throughout the year. The AQQA aquarium fan has 5 levels of wind speed, indicated by a green light. This allows you to select the most suitable wind speed for different environmental scenarios. It also comes with ambient lighting effects.
Timing Function
The aquarium cooler includes a timer setting controller with a blue indicator light. You can select durations of 0.5H, 1H, 2H, 4H, or 12H through the external controller. Manually customize the working hours based on wind speeds and aquarium temperatures.
Easy to Use
This fan fits fish tanks with walls under 0.6 inches thick. The angles of the fan head can be freely adjusted, so there’s no need to worry about angle issues. Furthermore, a 3-head disperser cable design allows you to accommodate fan heads placed on 1-3 water tanks. One controller and power cord can efficiently control all three fan heads.

This 3 piece fan set is awesome for increasing the oxygen exchange in your tanks, wether you want to use one fan in three separate nano setups, or three fans in one, this set gives the flexibility to have those options. They are powered by one toggle switch, and this requires a wall outlet to plug into. These are decent sized fans that have relatively decent outputs, enough to move the duckweed around the surface, so I feel they are sufficient for the amount of flow I am looking for. I would say they are louder than others I’ve owned, so keep that in mind when ordering, but they function well, are durable, and a good value for the price they are listed at. Can recommend.
Perfecto todo funciona bien y es lo que esperaba del producto
This aquarium fan provides reliable cooling for tanks exposed to heat sources. The adjustable wind speed allows customization based on temperature needs. The timing function enables automated operation, reducing manual intervention. The RGB lighting adds aesthetic appeal without affecting aquatic life. Multiple fan heads distribute airflow evenly across larger tanks. The unit remains quiet during operation, minimizing stress on fish. Mounting hardware is included for easy installation on tank hoods or sides.
I needed to cool off my tank and this seemed like a really functional and practical way to do so without spending a fortune. The AQQA Aquarium Chiller is easy way to drop the temp of your water and not disturb your underwater pets. The kit comes with three linked fans and a wired controller that is built into the power line. Each of the fans has their own clamp and each fan also has a considerable amount of wire to place them however you want around the top of the tank.
The clamps went on very easily and they are pretty hefty. Once you get it clamped on and tighten it up, it stays put and I didn’t notice any jiggling or change in its mounted position. That being said, ensure you plan out where you are going to place the fans, as they do have a limited degree of tilt to them. I recommend angling the fans the way you wish before you clamp it on to see if they are directed in the correct areas.
Each of the fans has a great LED lighting scheme and they really look great at night. It gives the top of the tank a really great look. The controller enables you to change the speed and the timing of how long you with have the fans running. The fans all turn at the same speed, they don’t have individual control. It gives you 5 different speeds to choose from and overall they are pretty quiet. The top speed is a little much and does give off some fan noise, it was my only complaint if I had to make one. Additionally, you can choose to have the fans on a timer, anywhere from a half hour, up to 12 hours in different increments that are shown on the controller. Depending on what you choose you get a visual indicator of your speed and the timer setting. Using the timer isn’t required and you can just have them on all the time if you wish.
Overall, for the price point, the functionality, and the cool look of the lighting I give them four stars. I took one star away due to the strange way the fan heads are angled, I would have thought they would have more adjustment in them, but they still do a great job.
I picked up this set of aquamarine cooling fans to help regulate my live plant aquarium during the summer when temps often hover between 85°–120°. Performance-wise, they absolutely do the job—my tank has stayed noticeably cooler, and the adjustable fan speeds make it easy to fine-tune airflow for different conditions.
The build feels solid, and I like the flexibility of the multi-fan setup with an external controller. The fans are a good size and fit onto the edge of the tank The timer function is handy too, especially if you don’t want the fans running nonstop.
Where I ran into an issue is with the placement of the attachment screws. They’re on the underside, which means when properly installed, you have to put your fingers in the water to adjust or remove them. For aquariums with delicate plants, shrimp, or sensitive fish, even small contaminants from your hands (like soap residue or oils) can be risky.
Pros: Strong cooling power, multiple speeds, timer function, sturdy build.
Con: Poor screw placement forces hands into the water, which isn’t ideal for sensitive setups.
Overall, these fans are very effective at cooling, but I ended up repurposing mine in my 6 ft. tall mini indoor greenhouse where they also work great for airflow and preventing mold for my collect of tropical aroids. Best for hobbyists who prioritize cooling power and don’t mind the screw design, which I feel is a bit overpriced for such an obvious design flaw.
