Safety precautions for use

Temperature accuracy checked with laser thermometer and it is correct. Definitely a good product for the money. Functions as it should and it’s easy to use. I keep it at its lowest setting just so water doesn’t freeze in the winter. I like it a lot. Seems well made. It’s big but that was expected at 1000w.
These newer heaters with the outside temperature reading boxes are pretty nice. That is if you have the extra room to hang the box up nearby. if you don’t have the room outside of your tank to put it could be a problem. But it is nice that I no longer have to reach into the water and pull the slimy heater up a bit so I can turn the vile when I need to increase or decrease the temperature. Which is usually hard to do for whatever reason. Now, it is just a push of a button. And I can see what the temperature is so easy now as I come into the room as compared to bending a down a bit and finding the thermometer on my heater or having to put thermometers in and on my tanks.
It is a good quality heavy-duty heater in my mind. It is wider than what you see in the pictures of it though. I was hoping it was skinny because the last one I got was way too fat. This one when it looked smaller in the pics but still could heat a big aquarium up was ideal for me. I didn’t need it for a big aquarium now, but I might need it for one in the future. Right now, it is in a 20-gallon tank. Since, it can control the temperature so easily I didn’t see a problem with putting it in a smaller tank than what it could heat up. Hopefully, it won’t break and heat everything up.
But that might be why it looks too big in my tank too because it is supposed to be in a bigger aquarium. But I was just going off the pictures. It heated up my tank slowly even though it said it would do it quickly but that was o.k. Plus, it is better on the fish. Since then, it has kept my tank at a nice even temperature and hasn’t deterred from it. It is a handsome-looking heater. Just remember it has all the extra stuff that the old heaters didn’t have so you will need more room for it on the inside and the outside of your aquarium. It came with a hook device with a sticker back to put on the wall so you can hang it on it. It has been hanging on it now for a few weeks no problem. I am liking the heater a lot.
Its missing one important feature in my opinion. Auto shut. It isn¡¯t even offered and is a must safety feature to me. With that said, it works and the temp is easy to set.
75 gallon fish tank works great easy temperature control ??
I got this water heater to use for a different way. I got it and used another larger brand to warm the water in our church baptismal. I know this is made to maintain water in a fish tank. This has an easy to use display to either raise or lower the temperature. Between using this and a larger heater of another brand, this kept the water a decent 94 degrees. It is made well, but I learned I had to make sure I unplug it and let it cool a little before removing it from the water. The display is easy to read and it is made well. Since this is a fragile piece of equipment, and easily broken, I have to be careful with it when draining the stock tank. I can easily recommend this for smaller tanks.
