Set temperature is 59°F - 93°F (15°C - 34°C).
Press the button once to increase by 1°F or 1°C. When the highest set temperature of 93°F or 34°C is reached, pressing again will reback to the lowest set temperature.
Safety protection with automatic power cut-off
Out of water power off : the heater is detected to 1inch away from the water surface, automatically cut off power. To resume, fully submerge it back into the water.
Overtemperature protection: Setting temperature more than 3℉ above water temperature to activate, Difference less than 3℉ recovery.

Safety precautions for use
Our turtle’s heater broke and this appeared to be the perfect replacement. The design on the outside of the barrel is much more eye catching than some other heater’s we’ve had and it helps protect him from getting to the heater itself. Getting it all hooked up and setting the temp was fairly simple, and it’s kept his water at a steady temperature since getting it. I personally LOVE the interface on the unit outside the tank it’s very easy to read and the animation of the circle is fantastic.
Just make sure it sits properly upright… I uh may have had a tiny issue where it came loose and didn’t catch it in time while testing cause I fell asleep… The water sensor is only at the top so, if it falls over and then the water level drops to where it’s partially exposed but still registers some water well… It works a little too well unfortunately.
But if you set it up properly it does work! I managed to get that done first with a shorter test at least. ??
I love this heater so far. It does a great job of keeping temps stable. It is a decent size and not unattractive in my tank. The control is informative and easy to use.
These dual heater tubes are really cool.? It has a temperature control box, heats my aquarium water well, reaches the programmed temperature, the glass tubes are protected well by its plastic housing, and it has dry burning protection.? The only cons for me would be that I wish the control box were closer to the heater than the plug, and the cord should be longer.? My African Cichlids in my 265-gallon tank approve.? I love Aqqa products!
This fish tank heater is perfect. It seems to heat evenly, and it¡¯s super easy to set up. It sits at the back of the tank so it looks really nice. It has little suction cups that help it to stick to the glass. It also has an easy ¡°set¡± button to pick the temperature. Overall, great value!
