Information about AQQA 30W Remote Control Aquarium Light
30W Remote Control Aquarium Light & Robust Build
This light’s main material is aluminum alloy. It features an ultra-thin design for fast heat dissipation and high luminosity. Light beads use high-brightness 5050 and 2835 LEDs. They offer strong penetration in water. The remote control signal works up to 98 feet without obstacles. With obstacles, it reaches 32 feet. The 30W light has 96 light beads total. These include 48 white, 8 green, 8 red, 8 blue, and 24 RGB. Its lumen output is 700lm. This light suits fish tanks between 32-40 inches.
RGB Color Ring for Infinite Color Adjustment
A high-sensitivity touchscreen remote controls the light. Slide your finger on the two color rings to change the light color. The outside RGB color ring selects different single colors. The inner RGBW color ring offers 7 RGBW modes. These include red, blue, green, and white light beads. They combine with a red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, or purple color bar. This setup ditches complicated color settings for infinite light color adjustments!
10 Brightness Levels & 2 Full Spectrum Modes
Adjust brightness across 10 levels: from 10% to 100%. Press the bulb button for two full-spectrum modes. One mode uses RGB full-spectrum light beads, located in the middle of the light board. This enhances living things’ colors. The second mode combines white, blue, red, and green light beads. This mode aids plant growth. Brightness cannot be adjusted in full-spectrum mode.
9 Dynamic Light Modes with Speed Control
Discover 9 dynamic light modes. These include 3-color jump, 7-color jump, 3-color gradient, and 7-color gradient. You also get 7-color transition gradient, 3-color sequential flash, 7-color sequential flash, 3-color sequential burst flash, and 7-color sequential burst flash. Three-color light beads refer to red, green, and blue. Seven-color light beads include red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, purple, and white. Ten change speeds are available for each mode. Dynamic light buttons cycle through the 9 modes. A white light indicates the end of the mode.
3 Archivable Light Modes & Memory Function
One button stores a light color and brightness for quick access. Set the light color and brightness first. Then, long-press the button until the light quickly turns off and on again. This successfully stores your setting. The scene function can still activate with one button, even if the remote loses power. The light also has a memory function. After a power outage, the light reopens with its previous lighting settings by default.

This light is very basic but versatile and adjustable. It doesn¡¯t have timers or day/night color cycles, and it only works with the remote, as there are no buttons on the receiver box. The remote is pretty cool, though, with continuous adjustability and smooth controls. While I expected some timers for the price, it¡¯s still not bad. Some effects, like flash bursts, might not be great for tropical fish, but it worked well for basic low lighting on my axolotl tank. It’s a huge upgrade from the old fluorescent lights I¡¯ve used before, and I¡¯m super happy with it!
This light has no timers or day/night automatic color cycles, it’s just a very basic light that is very versatile and adjustable. It’s only operable with the remote, as the receiver box connected to the light has no buttons, but the remote is pretty cool with the ring of continuous adjustability. It is very responsive and I was surprised at how smooth and cool it is. I guess for the price maybe I would have expected some timers and cycles but it’s not bad. Some of the effects presets, like the flash bursts, probably are not ideal for tropical fish. This seems like it’s more of a party light controller that’s been adapted to an aquarium strip light, but it’s certainly way better than the old style on/off non-dimmable fluorescent lights that I’ve had most of my life. It’s definitely a huge upgrade for the tank I’m putting this on so I’m super happy with it. Thank you.
