Needed replacement for a battery air pump that sounded like an airplane and the cost of 4d cell batteries being $10. This has a very minimal humming noise I do suffer heavily from tinnitus so it doesnt bother me in the slightest bit. Also came with a check valve, tubing, and air stones. As long it keeps running I’m satisfied with this purchase.
The ad says it’s for up to 160 gallon fish tank but it barely puts out enough air for my 20 gallon tank. I thought this pump would put out a lot of air due to the claims. It puts out okay air for a small sponge filter and an air stone. I’m not impressed at all.
