The trigger style pump makes it very easy to get the suction going to do water changes and gravel cleaning. Hose is long and flexible enough to reach your bucket. The flow control dial is very useful. Great buy.

This AQQA Gravel Cleaner is exactly what I was looking like for. The vacuum has a sturdy plastic body, and it is well constructed with all the attachments you could need for different tanks. It works great for cleaning up the gravel in any size tank I have.

I’ve been using a simple manual cleaner as electric cleaners were too expensive for their functionality.
This one worked surprisingly well and immediately replaced my old cleaner.
It did well as described for my 3-gallon to 20-gallon tanks. Highly recommended!

Really like it for my 55 gallon tank. Unfortunately, it is too large and does not work in the small pre tank. There is no suction. as a result, I will have to buy another vacuum for the small tank. I believe a slightly smaller one would have sufficed for both.

I like that I can clean the substrate in my tank without having to remove my fish from the aquarium. They can just kind of chill and swim around the vacuum, no worries. I also like that this device has a sand filter, my last one didn¡¯t and would pull some sand out of the tank. So far this aquarium cleaner is working well, but I am still getting the hang of it. I really appreciate the trigger starter, that is a huge upgrade from the old fashioned kind of gravel vacuum. There are just a lot of parts with this cleaner and I¡¯m still working on figuring out what I like and what is the most useful for my setup.

This gravel vacuum gets the job done. We have a 26 gal fish tank which my husband is diligent about cleaning. He always uses a gravel vacuum as part of the cleaning process, however after using this one time he proclaimed the tank is “the cleanest it’s ever been” – and seeing how bright and clean the tank is I have to agree.
This cleaner does have a VERY long hose. He’ll need to cut that shorter before using it again, as the hose was so generously long that it was more than needed and complicated things. However – for anyone needing more length this is perfect because there’s plenty of hose. That’s a big plus.
Another big plus is the suction start is via a pressure trigger mechanism. Once that gets going the water flow is a bit slow, the hose could be a bit wider – but it gets the job done.
Incudes two attachments, one for gravel and one for sand. The gravel attachment works well, can’t comment on the sand as that one wasn’t used.
Includes extension attachments to reach the bottom of the tank – my husband used all 3, but for our 26 gallons tank he could have easily just used 2. The extension attachments make this handy for a larger tank.
Customer Review –
This tank cleaner was an improvement from my previous tank cleaner. It does a great job of being locking securely. and the water expeller is also on the bottom of the vacuum instead of the top. This design greatly minimizes the chance of water spillage. The issue is that it didn’t didn’t come with the AC adapter and there was no way to plug up the device. I was forced to cannibalize the part from previous vacuum. Had I not had my old tank cleaner, I wouldn’t have been able to use this tank cleaner at all.
