  3. Im happy with it so far. I’m trying to replace all my heaters with heaters that have covers. Found my bettas and plecos are too found of laying on or near heaters and I’m worried about burns, It’s surprising how easily you can burn yourself on these, they should really all have covers so atleast direct contact is avoided. No issues with setup and seems to be running well so far.

  4. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because I don’t know how long they, I have 3, will last.
The 1st I got in May, a 25w and 2nd Jun 50w and another 50w Oct and they seem to work well keeping the temp within +/- 1 deg. The 25w I have in my wife’s 2.5 gal betta tank (soon to be upgraded to 6 gal) and it’s been down to 66 in the room but the tank stays between 78 and 79 with ease.

  5. I have used this heat for about a year. Now it¡¯s blinking nonstop the end of life code (EL) 24/7.
I personally find it annoying. The seller didn¡¯t mention it in the owner¡¯s manual. So after 10000 hrs. Your heater will start showing this code until it stops working.
