Please note:
The black filter sponge is reusable, while the white filter sponge is disposable. If the water quality is very poor, it is recommended to use the white filter sponge first.
Please note the direction of the check valve

Our power is always going out at just a slight drizzle so it’s essential for me to have a way to keep my air pumps going for my pet sea monkeys tanks in the meantime. This handles that wonderfully. Held a steady charge for the 3 hours I needed it with consistent air flow. It’s not noisy either.
I’m pleased so far with this air pump. Purpose was to provide air in the event of power outages to my tanks. To note, it cannot push air very far, so the pump needs to be , in my opinion, within a couple feet of the tank so as to maximize output on the highest setting. it also comes with everything you need, airline and air stones, the air stones are good quality and produce very fine bubbles, which minimizes noise on the waters surface.
