Details to Make a Whisper Air Pump
Thicken ABS Shell
The air pump shell is made of premium ABS material. We thicken it for better sound insulation.
Integrated Air Chamber
Unlike other air pumps that use unenclosed motors, AQQA air pumps use an integrated enclosed motor that works fully enclosed to make it truly silent.
Rubber Feet with Suction
4 rubber feet on the bottom prevent it from moving when it is working. Besides, the soft rubber feet design also effectively reduces vibration noise.
Internal Support Feet
Internal support feet further reduce vibration.
This by far the best aquarium air filter I’ve purchased. I bought a couple of other air filters and compared them. This one is the quietest, and the 5w model is more than adequate to supply air for my 75 gl tank.
I did not think it was possible, but here it is! It is, truly, quiet.

I was in need of a new air pump to power one of our filters so I gave this one a try.
-It came in well packaged and in great shape.
-Set up was very simple and straightforward.
-It suctioned to the side of the tank very well and has stayed there no problem.
-It has a silent operation, which with some of these is hit or miss.
-While it does say powerful I have had smaller ones that put out more air than this. I mean they were a LOT louder but more powerful. The small one does not have a way to adjust the airflow.
Overall it is doing a good job ¡°running¡± 1 double sponge filter but I really can¡¯t see it doing any more than that.
