Ist angenehm leise
I wanted to switch from a tiny 1.5W pump to see if I could get more airflow without more noise. The 3W pump delivers amazingly. Without sacrificing quiet, I went from a few bubbles at 20CM depth to lots of bubbles at 50CM depth. I’ve stopped one of the outlets, not with the supplied control valve, as it didn’t make the outlet airtight and quiet. Instead, I bent a short rubber hose stub twice and wrapped it in tape. The perfect seal makes the pump almost noiseless. We can watch TV at low volume without noticing the pump from a distance of 2-3 meters. When it turned off at 10 pm, we could notice the change in silence. It was previously on, but we hadn’t noticed it before, so the humm it makes is ambient and integrates well in a typical living room. During the day I don’t notice the ambient noise at all. It is an excellent little product. I’m hoping it will last long.
