🎁 Giveaways Prize Highlight – AQQA Submersible Aquarium Water Pump
🐟 Ultra-quiet, energy-saving, and powerful — perfect for any aquarium setup!

Great for Tackling Dead Zones I added this AQQA wave maker to my 20-gallon AIO tank, and it¡¯s been a game-changer for those stubborn dead zones. I positioned it in a spot that wasn’t getting much flow, and now, I¡¯ve got the perfect water movement through that area.
Compact but Effective Despite its small size, this pump has plenty of power. It¡¯s perfect for a tank of this size, adding just the right amount of circulation without blasting everything around. The magnetic base holds it firmly in place, so I don¡¯t have to worry about it slipping.
Easy to Adjust The 360¡ã rotation makes it easy to direct the flow, and I love how it doesn¡¯t take up much space in the tank. If you¡¯re looking to fine-tune the circulation in a smaller setup, this little wave maker is definitely up for the job.
I tested using this wave maker in a blackwater tank I have running. It is pretty easy to configure and install. The controller connection with a barrel-type plug is nice for initial setup, as it makes it easier to run the cable while detached from the controller.
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to use this as I planed since it moves so much water. For the 20G tall aquarium, it is just too much power. Whether on the lowest setting, or variable flow, the current was just throwing around the smaller fish. That is not a.problem with the wave maker, just the tank size.
It was very easy to aim the jet in the direction I wanted it to point without moving around. The rubber pads between the magnet, glass, and jet hold tightly and are easy to remove and apply.
The cords are plenty long for most applications, and the hole for hanging/mounting is a welcome addition. The display is easy to read and the controls are mostly simple to configure.
If you have a tank you need to add a lot of flow to, this would be a great option for you. I will save this for a 55G river tank I am planning on setting up and it will probably be perfect.
No off button
I initially got this wave maker for my 40g breeder tank but ended up using it in a 75g tank instead. Even on the lowest setting, the flow rate was a bit too strong for my plants. However, it works perfectly in my hardscape-only tank.
I love the control I have over the flow rate, and being able to adjust it during feeding times is super helpful. The variety of settings and different “pulse modes” to simulate various water flows and environments is impressive. I can see how this would be beneficial for a reef tank to mimic ocean currents (though I don’t have a saltwater tank).
Overall, this is one of the best wave makers I’ve ever used. I highly recommend it for tanks 55g and larger. The flow rate felt a bit too high for my 40g, but that might just be a personal preference.
